Spiritual Formation Week 7: Becoming a Student of Prayer

In this episode, we had a conversation about what it means to be a Student of Prayer. We dove into the Word and let Scripture, like 2 Chronicles 16 and the beginning of John 15, shape our time. We also talked about the beauty of leaning into the tension we see and allowing the questions to lead us into deeper intimacy with the Lord.  

Spiritual Formation Week 6: What is the Gospel?

In this week's episode, we had a conversation around the question, "What is the Gospel?" and spent time discussing what that means to each of us, and specifically where the Bible points us. Our main scripture focus' were Isaiah 61:1-7 and Colossians 1:9-23, as well as several others that shaped this discussion. 

 

Spiritual Formation Week 5: Discipleship

In this episode, we have a conversation about what it means to make disciples and invite others to follow Jesus together. We focused on Deuteronomy 4:9-14, Matthew 4:18-25, and 2 Timothy 2. 

Spiritual Formation Week 4: Following Jesus

In this episode, we talk about Following Jesus. We started by having a conversation about what the Lord has been speaking to us individually and dive into the key reading from this week. We also took time to focus on Luke 14 and what it means to us as followers of Jesus. 

Spiritual Formation Week 3: The Kingdom

This past Sunday we had a conversation centered around the King and the Kingdom. In this time we dive into the beginning of Isaiah 9 and Matthew 6:19-34, as well as overall what we can discover of the heart of our King, Jesus and our call as His followers through the Sermon on the Mount. 

Spiritual Formation Week 1: Pilgrimage

In this message we asked the question, "What is Pilgrimage?", as we looked at Psalm 84 and other passages about the value of the journey. This message includes stories, conversation and a short teaching as we seek the Lord for our next steps together.
